For me, professional work has never been only about what happens within a session or what can be measured as a service.
I believe meaningful work must also create impact, access and social value.
Snigdha Mishra Initiatives brings together the work I undertake beyond my formal clinical practice often freely and with the intention of creating spaces for learning, connection, reflection and professional growth.
This includes initiatives such as Therapist Collective, peer-support and reflective spaces for mental-health professionals, free talks and workshops, mental-health literacy, community conversations and other purpose-driven projects that emerge from a need I see within the community.
My ethos is simple:
If our work gives us knowledge, privilege, experience or influence, it also gives us an opportunity to give something back.
Some initiatives may address an immediate need. Others are part of a longer-term vision for a more reflective, ethical and accessible mental-health ecosystem.
I see these not as separate from my professional work, but as an extension of it.
Because for me, success is not only about building a practice. It is about building something that continues to create value beyond me.
Impact. Purpose. Contribution.
